Chocolate Mousse

Who out there doesn't just LOVE chocolate. 


Ingredients

The "Meez":

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups of dark chocolate
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 5 egg whites
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup whipping cream

Directions

The "Method":

  1. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a double boiler.
  2. Add the egg yolks to the chocolate mixture and set aside.
  3. In the mixer, beat together the egg whites and sugar until they form stiff peaks.
  4. Add the beaten egg whites to the chocolate mixture, but do not mix.
  5. Using your mixer, whip the whipping cream until it forms soft peaks.
  6. Now fold the whipping cream together with the chocolate mixture and the beaten eggs whites - be careful not to overmix.
  7. Let chill for about 30 to 40 minutes in the fridge before serving.
